Today I decided to take Erika out for some fresh air. We had a heat wave with temperatures in the 40's today and peter and I thought it would be good for her to get out. Erika has always loved being outside since she was so tiny. Anyway, she was excited to go out and walk around.
We also aired
out the house a little today to try and rid it of all the nasty germs that keep living in our house! Currently, peter is getting sick again and Erika is basically the same. Guess I will be up next again. Believe it or not, my ear is still not even 100% but is a lot better than it was.
I was amazed at how much bigger Erika was on the swing set today than last time I had her out there. She looked like a giant to me! I don't know when the last time was but it had to be at least a few months ago. HOLY COW...did she grow! She almost looked too big for it. But I will definitely get another year or more out of it. I still have the "big kid" swings t
o attach to it also.
Erika and I also walked up and down our block a little bit. By the time we came in, her little nose was red and her hands were freezing. We were probably only out for about 20 - 30 minutes. But I guess that was more than enough. And now tomorrow...back to school and Miss. Maureen.
