I can't believe it is Friday! I could complain about how quickly the time went by OR I could brag about what and AMAZING week I had with Erika. And truly the time didn't fly by because I tried my best to stay as relaxed as possible. I dedicated almost all the time to just being with Erika and it was so super sweet.
I think only one morning this week did Erika let me sleep past 6:00. but I enjoyed cuddling every morning on the couch with snacking on cheerios and watching early morning Noggin. In the two pictures above, Erika is modeling her new pj's from my mother for Valentines Day and would you believe that they are a size 4T?! I mean they will fit for awhile and are baggy but still...they are on her!
This morning Erika had fun sweeping the dining room floor with me. She kept getting frustrated though because she couldn't get the broom to do what I was doing with my broom. I should have taken a few pictures because she really looked cute. Then we came upstairs to my bedroom to get a few things done. Even though I thought setting up that little play area for Erika in our bedroom would help keep her occupied, it really doesn't! She still really gets into everything and makes a mess of everything. So basically as I straighten one mess out, she is making another one for me. Today she was into all of Daddy's ties. But it was so adorable that I couldn't stop her!This is just a short video of her playing in the bedroom this morning. I have more to share from today but Peter and I are going to watch a movie.
