Not So Sleepy Sunday

The day started with our regular church routine. Erika was up by 7:30 and soon after that eating her breakfast. By 9:00 I usually have her in the bath. Aunt Judy shows up at about 9:30 and then within about 20 minutes we all leave for church. Erika is without a doubt the light of aunt Judy's life. She just loves her. When we pulled up in the church parking lot, Erika was very excited. Miss. Kathy is someone that Erika often asks for throughout the week. I usually sit in the nursery with Erika for awhile and today I discovered a toy that Erika seemed to really LOVE. Not sure what it is called but I took a couple of pictures. I know they are expensive but I will have to look into getting one...even if it is from Craig's list maybe.In the mean time, I think I may be getting sick again. I have taught Erika how to kiss me on the lips. This is very sweet and fun at the time but i think i may be paying the price now! Sometimes when we kiss she has a drippy nose! Oh well. Live and learn I guess.Today was an extra special and fun day at church. They had a Valentines Day brunch. The youth group sponsored it. It was all decorated and just really really nice. The best part was that Miss. Kathy came and sat at our table. If I said Erika was excited that would be a huge understatement! She just adores her. I can't blame Erika because Kathy really is a wonderful woman.

Usually when Erika comes home from church, she goes right to sleep but NOT today! She looked so sleepy in the car on the way home. In fact, even before we left to go to church she was asking for "night night." In yet when she came home, she only wanted to PARTY in her crib. So eventually we went in and took her out. Then we took her out for a little fresh air. Details to follow in the next post. In the mean time, enjoy a few more pictures. I had to change her outfit from church so that she would be warm enough outside.
