So when Erika wouldn't nap, we decided to take her to the plane restoration park near our house. Erika is always so excited when we pass the planes and we thought it would be nice to actually walk around and check them out. It was ironic how peter and I have never actually been there and it is truly about 3 minutes from our house! There is Erika reading the history of that particular plane.
To me, she looks like she is thinking "this is what all the excitement is about?" But it was kinda cool because there was a button to press that made the real sound of the plane taking off. Erika actually became a bit afraid when that sound happened. We walked under the planes and looked at every angle. Peter and I couldn't help but think about how much Opa would have enjoyed being there with us.
After the plane adventure we got back in the car and went to check out a very local park that i have never been to but many people recommend. Well, Erika was asleep within a few minutes and so we only looked at the park. It looks nice but still not as exciting as I am looking for. I will try it out as soon as it is warm enough though.
So then we went home in hopes of transferring Erika to her crib for a nap. NO SUCH LUCK! She wanted to PARTY again! So she didn't nap at all today! i ended up taking her food shopping and then made dinner, gave her a bath and she finally was knocked out.

How cool! Isabelle loves to go see the planes, especially at night. She says zoom zoom zoom airplane fly! I find it a very moving place, especially when the memorials have the nick-names of the "in memorial" pilots. We should have a picnic there when it gets warmer!
