"How Sweet It Is To Be In Love With...Erika!"

Today was one of those more difficult days for me to hand Erika over while I worked. Some days are more difficult than others and i think that Monday's are always the toughest because I get used to having her for two days and then I have to give her up again. the good news is that I have off all of next week! I want to plan some fun things for her and I to do.
When she came home today, she was so extra thirsty. Oh my goodness she drank a 6 ounce smoothie, and three cups of juice/water mix. Peter and I couldn't believe how she was taking in the beverages! Erika has been in a great mood lately and so it continued this afternoon. When we came home, Daddy was home already which was nice for both Erika and I. While he finished some of his work I made Erika a snack and then we did some puzzles. That is something she is really good at. Although if the piece doesn't fit in right away, she gets very frustrated and says "help help."Daddy requested pizza tonight so we ordered one and had a pizza night with Erika. She was excited when she saw the box. Even though she had the same thing on her own plate, she would much rather pick off of Peters plate! I was laughing.

And then I just sit there on the couch while she and Peter are watching television and I stare at her beautiful face. I am still in awe that Erika is ours and that this unbelievable dream has come true and continues to come true every single day. Erika gives me more reason than I ever thought possible to get up everyday. She gives me something to look forward to and reason to be the best I can be. I say to Peter "can you believe she is ours?" That's why I say "How Sweet It is To Be In Love With...Erika."
