Belle Came Over

Today Michelle had an important doctors appointment so I offered to take Belle at my house for awhile. Oh my goodness, I had a ton of fun with those two together! They were really extra cute together this time. Some days it seems like they both want to just take each others toys all the time but today I got lucky because they were both not only well behaved but FUN! Some highlights from the day include asking Belle if she did poop and her telling me "no Erika." Asking Erika if she did poop and her telling me "No Belle." Coming out of the bathroom to find popcorn, cheerios and pretzels from one end of the living room to the other...again they both blamed each other when I asked who made the mess. We played ring around the rosie. Belle requested "The Cat Movie." Belle wanted to help me do everything including changing Erika's diaper and unclogging the toilet bowl. 'I'll help you Heidi, I'll help you." So So cute.

Of course they had to spend some time feeding and brushing Erika's pony too. Belle loves to take care of the pony where as Erika loves to scream and pretend the pony is biting her fingers! Don't know if that is a personality difference or a 6 month difference in age. Either way it is fun. I loved that Erika had someone else to play with because I think that sometimes she gets bored or lonely especially when I have things that I need to get done and can't sit down to play with her.So far, this week has been amazing with Erika. She has completely come alive. She is happy, fun, silly and chatty. It is going to be a difficult day Monday when I have to go back to work but I will count the days till the summer! I truly do see a difference in her personality this week. Peter and I can't get over it.After Michelle came back from the Doctor, it was her turn to take the kids to her house because I had an appointment to get to. Trouble was that Erika was down for a nap and Michelle couldn't stay cause Belle had to nap at her house. So in for the yanking from the crib I went. Luckily Michelle lives really close and Erika went back to sleep when I got her there.It's not Erika but look at Belle kissing Bob! She just loves him and he loves her.
