Not too many pics from today to choose from. And on top of that, Erika wasn't much in the mood for picture taking. Overall, I would say her health is better than yesterday but she does get some heavy duty coughing fits. The fever seems to have dropped. We kept it a pretty calm day since she really wasn't in the best mood.
Erika was up at 6:30 and Daddy got up with her to give me a break. I got up shortly after that too. My Saturday routine lately seems to involve a breakfast of yummy pancakes, sausage and a cheese omelet. It is nice to all sit at the table and eat. However, Erika wasn't that into it today because she loaded up on cheerios while waiting for me to finish cooking!
The picture above was taken at lunch. Erika specifically asked Daddy to get her the Elmo bib...BUT that particular bib was not clean right now. Anyway, she was acting silly all slouched back like that. This morning I went for a hair cut and then about three hours after that I took Erika for a "bang cut." She did really well this time because usually she cries the entire time and this time she only cried in the beginning and then was fine.
You may be wondering what the title of this post means. Well I was doing some cleaning today and ran into an old picture of me when I was skinny and young. Both peter and I asked Erika who it was in the picture and she said "Mommy...It's You." I was so so surprised. I didn't know that she could speak like that. And just as exciting was that she actually recognized that it was me!
Hopefully the night will go well and Erika will be feeling better in the morning!
