The trip home from North Carolina went pretty well. In my opinion it was better than going. I think the main reason was that Erika wasn't all "backed up" on the way home. We took a different way home and put me behind the wheel (the faster driver) and we made it home in less time than going. Road trips are nice but not looking to repeat that for awhile. 
Hmmm...you may be wondering what's with the pictures in front of the grill. Allow me to explain... Peter and I have had this tradition that whenever we take road trips, there always has to be a picture of me standing in front of a grill at a rest area. I think it may have started as a joke like as if he always has me cooking or something but I can't really even remember. So at my mothers request, we made sure on the way home that we took "the grill" pictures. This rest area was in Virginia. Erika didn't know what her crazy parents were doing. And as you can see in the last photo...she was not happy about the whole scene!
