This is nuts! Erika is coughing like a maniac again and running a fever as high as 103! She started coughing a lot on Wednesday when Michelle was taking care of her and it seems to have snowballed from there. Thursday morning when Erika woke up she seemed warm to me so I gave her some Tylenol before leaving her with Maureen.
Then Maureen told me that Erika slept the day away on Thursday which for me is usually an indication that she is coming down with something. Thing is, I don't know if she really ever got better. Erika is always coughing slightly and most of the time has a runny nose. When I picked Erika up from Maureen's' her cheeks were all rosy and so i figured she must have a fever. Those ear thermometers are a joke because they give a different reading every time I use it. So I bought a new one. Slightly better but I am still not too impressed.
Anyway, Thursday night she was coughing so much that I let her sleep on my chest while I kinda sat up on the sofa bed. Friday I took half a day and we picked her up early. I took a nap while peter took her to the Dr. And guess what the doctor said? Not much we can do...she is sick and this is all normal. She does seem a little better today. And so the Erika being sick saga goes on....
