So...it's Sunday already!

The weekends are going quicker and quicker! Which makes the days of the weekend extra special time with Erika. Today was the usual Sunday school and church routine. Erika really seems to enjoy going to Sunday school and I enjoy being able to listen in church! Daddy was very busy working on my computer and so this meant a lot of one on one time with Erika!

She is really becoming quite the little Mommy. Always hugging her baby and in the tub she always brushes the baby's teeth. Then we take the baby out for a walk and we wrap her up in a blanket. I enjoy watching her be so loving with her doll because I know that it is an indication of the love Peter and I are giving her.

If you look closely in the picture above you can see the proud smile on Erika's face! I wanted to mention that Friday night when I put her to bed in regular pj's instead of a blanket sleeper...she did wake up that night! But I am still not convinced and so I have not purchased more of them till I am sure! I still don't think she likes having them on.

Erika and I spent a lot of time outside today. We even got out her quad from Michelle for her first birthday. Today she liked this the most I have ever seen! I guess she is the right age now. She likes it better when I lean over her and press the button to make it move for her. So I end up with the backache and she ends up having fun!

Most parents worry that their child will step in dog poop while in the yard...not me. I have to worry about the deer going potty in our yard! Crazy but true. So our activities outside were slightly limited today.

So guess what Erika finally did tonight? She held her bottle by herself. Yup as she is approaching 17 months, I simply asked her if she can hold her own bottle and she did. So I guess all I had to do all this time was ask her! Ha that is beyond funny. Anyway she held it and we will see how it goes tomorrow night.
