Foot Surgery Update

Sorry no Erika pictures, just a quick update on foot land over here. We were at the hospital by 7:00am (1/2 hour late) and surgery was happening by 9:00 am. I was getting more and more freaked as they keep making you wait more and more. I only broke down crying once and that was right before they wheeled me in. I did not even open my eyes as they pushed me into the operating room because that is one of the things that freaks me the most. Seeing those bright lights and being on the table is not the best memory for me. They knocked me out with a different mixture this time and it was great because i wasn't sick afterwards. Usually i spend 3 - 4 hours throwing up and this time I woke up fine. In fact, the doctor told peter I woke up talking and being a chatter box! Now it is recovery time. I have to keep my foot elevated and iced 30 minutes on 30 minutes off. It hurts to walk but when I don't walk, all is well. I am uncomfortable sleeping because I like to sleep on my tummy or side and that is not a choice with my foot up in the air! Today and tomorrow my baby is at Michelle's house since I can't chase after her. I miss her but know it is best for her. Friday I go for the post op appointment and he will unwrap the foot and I suspect take out the stitches. I remember that hurting last time. Anyway, that is the update in foot land.
