Erika started my day at 6:00 this morning which seems to be her normal wake up time at this point. I am sure that it has something to do with the fact that we get her up at 5:40 most days of the week! I am just thankful that she has been sleeping through the night again. Because for a few weeks she was getting up 1-2 times a night again! I really need to make buying a rocking chair a priority because I miss having a chair in there with her at night! Anyway, I put her back to sleep after a bottle by 6:30 and she slept till a little after 8:00.
Breakfast went really smooth. So I guess yesterday she just wasn't in the mood for food. I have read that kids are like that. I took happy pictures at breakfast to show Peter because he didn't like seeing Erika so sad yesterday afternoon when I was attempting to give her lunch.
After breakfast, into the tub she went. This picture reminds me so much of one of me when I was younger. I don't know if I have the picture or if my parents do but if i do, I will have to scan and share it! While Erika was in the tub, I tended to "the foot." Yup the foot is still around. I had to take care of all the other toes on the foot, they felt neglected and are feeling much better now. It is healing so nice although today it is looking a little red and hopefully that is normal. Two more days till the doctor removes the threads! Here is the updated foot picture!
After bath time, Erika and I headed out to run some errands. First (and last) stop was Kohl's. I have many gift cards from my birthday and need some fall clothing for work and so we went. Erika was very well behaved for a change. Only at the end did she become the "wild turkey." And if you have a look at the two pictures below, you will see why she lost it towards the end of Kohl's. We will have to go back out to the food store and dry cleaners when she gets up from her nap.

she is getting so big! I hope your foot gets better soon, that looks so uncomortable.
The blisters look like they are healing finally! I love the tub pics and when she smiles, so adorable I just want to hug and kiss on her!
