Loving Erika

Sorry to disappoint, but I lent my camera to Michelle on Monday and won't have it back till Saturday! Sorry Sorry Sorry. So Tuesday I went back to work and the foot did well and so did Erika. She didn't cry when I left her with Maureen and both Maureen and I thought she would. We figure the one week off would be a set back but she did well. Peter has been teaching Erika about the pictures that we have up in the living room. All the pictures except our wedding are of her. One collage he taught her is Erika and she now says "Erika." The next collage is more baby pictures of her and for that one they do "shhhh" for the baby. And then they both point out a picture of her holding her pumpkin pocket book from last year. And my personal favorite, in our wedding picture he taught her Opa and now she pints to Opa and says his name. Melts my heart. Tomorrow I am off with Erika and i mostly plan on just hanging out and playing with her all day. I have a couple of errands but want to give my foot a break too because it is still very sore. Tonight, Peter had to work late so Erika and I decorated outside for Halloween and it came out kinda cute. I don't like Halloween so I only put out a few things and nothing scary. And basically that is the update over here!
