some rest for my little girl. The doctor was concerned that she has been sick so long. He said an average cold lasts at most 2 weeks but he could see from her chart that this has been since school started. Which he said he is hearing a lot lately. Once school starts up and the kids are back in day care and school...they just keep getting sick. 
So The doctor feels that she is dealing with a sinus infection and has put her on the classic pink bubble gum flavored amoxicillin. This is her first time being on an anti biotic and I know it was going to happen sooner or later but I feel a little sad about it but more glad and hopeful that she will start to feel better soon.
The doctor also said that I can give her 1 teaspoon of children's benadryl to help with the coughing. This seems to be helping her a lot. My little girl needs extra TLC!

I am glad you stayed home and she got some much needed rest, hope you can get some also. I know it totally sucks to have to give them medicine so hugs to you and Erika for it.
