Erika has been getting up way too early and it is taking it's toll on me and I am sure Peter too. Today it was 4:30 AGAIN! And I attempted to put her back to sleep after her bottle but she only stayed asleep for about 1/2 and hour and then she was up for a long time! I am beyond exhausted. So tired that it brings me to tears. I thought I was going to squeeze a nap in today but it turned out to be a very busy day.

I went to my
ww meeting (gained a pound) and Erika stayed home with Daddy and napped. Then we had our scheduled church directory photo at 2:00. That went pretty well. I decided that I wanted the family in fall colors and casual as
opposed to dressy and possibly Christmas colors. Erika wore the green apple sweater that she wore to Michelle's party last week. I wore a fall multi colored sweater and Peter wore a gray collared short sleeve shirt.
The pictures came out nice. They show you right away on the computer. Of
course I bought some extra but only two. I was very well behaved! I took one shot of Erika and one family shot. In addition they give you a complimentary 8x10 family print.

After the photo shoot we went home and Aunt Judy from next door came over. We all thought about taking Erika to the local farm. After deciding and talking and more deciding we finally went!
First we stopped at this one farm that had a train ride, pony ride and all the other fun stuff but they charged $12.00 each just to get in! And then each activity was an additional amount of money! That is insane so we left that one and moved on.

The next place was great and Erika had an unbelievable time! We took her on a hay ride which she loved so much. She was jumping up and down and smiling the entire time. Also she kept pointing things out. She loved it so much that we might consider taking her again.

I felt proud that at her age she was so interested in the hayride. There was an older child on there and he had zero interest. She kept telling Peter "wow" and "see, see." It really was so much fun. If it wasn't getting late and chilly we
would have went on again.

Okay so after the fun hayride we went through a corn stalk maze. That was the
first time for all of us. Erika had fun walking on her own and we had fun just exploring.

We did not buy any pumpkins because they were way to expensive and we suffer from
Fundsalow! Also I would have taken more
pictures but peters camera battery stinks and the
camera gave out shortly after we arrived. Anyway we also saw some chickens and bunnies there.

Peter pulled Erika around in a wagon through the
pumpkin patch and I wanted pictures but that wasn't happening! Aunt Judy has tons of fun with Erika. And Erika has tons of fun with her as well. In fact we were all having so much fun that afterwards we ordered a pizza. However Erika was beyond wiped out so she had a bottle and went night night!
