So today Erika and i spent the morning together playing, eating, having melt downs and napping - you know the usual! Then Michelle was so kind to offer to watch Erika even with her cough while I went to the foot doctor. Peter met me at the doctor for support. It was difficult driving so far (about an hour) and my foot was really starting to hurt.
Turns out that my foot was blistering up and itchy because I was having a reaction to the tape that was on the incision (latex). I had a very similar reaction from the tape used for the epidural when I had Erika. Within half an hour of the doctor removing all that tape, my foot stopped itching! It was amazing relief! It still has blisters, and still hurts and all that good stuff but at least one problem is taken care of!
Erika is having difficulty understanding how to respond appropriately when I tell her no or take something away from her. Currently she throws a big temper tantrum, yells no and sometimes hits me! I know insane! So I am working on this behavior with her. Maybe it is just the difficult schedule we have had going lately.

LOVE THE RED SWEATER, so grown up she looks in that! Glad the reaction was to tape and not an infection.
