Feeling A Little Better :-)

Yup...my little one seems to be feeling a little better today. I went back to work and she went back to Maureen's. Last night Erika only awoke once which was nice. Only thing is that her parents slept with one eye open waiting for her to wake up! We actually made the decision to get her up at around 12:00 because she was coughing and coughing and so we decided to get her up so we could give her the medicine to help her stop coughing and sleep.

Today on the way home from work Erika and I stopped at babies R us to look at winter coats. Mainly I was just getting an idea for sizes because the coats they have there are too thin and not warm enough in my opinion. I have a couple I am deciding on from Lands End Kids or LL Bean. Anyway, I bought her some much needed long sleeve onesies, the organic baby food she eats and a new tub toy.

The new tub toy was a hit! It is a fishing net and it came with three fish. She really loves it and that is why I took so many bath pictures tonight! I had a feeling that toy would be of interest with her.

Erika's latest sweet action is she says "Hug me" and puts her arms out. "Mommy hug..." is another one. Maureen is loving her new hug routine too! It is so so sweet!

Tonight Erika was playing with her Elmo doll and she took her blanket and covered him up and then took her pacifier and put it in his moth...and then gave him a hug. She has an incredible and caring heart...I love it...and her!

Also tonight Erika saw me take my socks off while she was in the tub because she got them all wet and when I did she said "foot...foot...boo...boo?" She still knows that Mommy has a boo boo on her foot and I thought that was pretty smart of her!

Tomorrow for Halloween Erika is going to be a -------. Ha! it's a surprise. But we do have a neighborhood party to go to. Only thing is that if Erika isn't feeling well then we really can't go, but I hope we can. It is being held where the summer party was when Erika was Shirley Temple - at the beach gate.
