"Ruff Ruff"

Today Erika and I went to a doggie event! Michelle does a tremendous amount of volunteer work at a local animal shelter. Along with other volunteers, they organized a fundraiser. The fundraiser was a dress up your doggie contest. Although it was really called something else which I can't remember right now. Anyway, we had a really great time. Erika was really into seeing all the dogs and the fact that they were dressed up was an added bonus!
And guess what? Isabelle was there too! That's Sue in the photo who was helping Michelle and her husband take care of Isabelle. The girls were having a lot of fun running around and then sampling all the food. They had a homemade sweet potato soup which Erika was pretty interested in.

mmmm...as Erika would say! She was tasting my ice cream which believe it or not she is not too into. This comes as a surprise to me because when she was in my tummy the most common food that would get her jumping around was ice cream! I thought for sure she would love it outside of the tummy!Check out Erika...her second time on the red carpet! She is really hot stuff! She was having a ball walking up and down. In the background you can see Michelle watching carefully for Erika's safety! You can't really see them but Erika even wore her special doggie leggings for today's big event.As the dogs were strutting their stuff on the red carpet Erika and belle were dancing and clapping to the party music. we were having a fun time. Erika was loving it! And as you can see from the picture...so was Michelle!

Clapping and dancing the day away! We didn't stay long enough to find out who won but Michelle will fill us in. Erika was becoming a handful and i decided it was best to leave. On the way out back to the car we passed a few farm animals. Here are a few pictures of Erika checking out the animals.
