Not too much happening over here today. Erika woke up a little after 8:00 which was nice considering last night was a late one. The latest thing that I do with her during the day is that instead of having the t.v. on all the time, I have been playing the Laurie Berkner CD's on the stereo. She totally loves it and even points to the stereo for me to put it on.

I had recently read that children should not be watching any television till they are about 2 1/2 years old! Yikes, I guess I messed that one up. I wouldn't say that Erika is a couch potato but I do have the t.v. on a lot. I like it for the noise. But now with the stereo on, I like it even better. It's cute because in between the songs when it is quiet Erika looks up at the stereo and babbles something to it!

Yesterday I went to Babies R Us to get a pack and play for September. Erika needs something to sleep in at her baby sitters house. She was using a small pack and play but has outgrown it. My friend at work had loaned me a full sized one but now needs it back. So I was in search for one that I had seen online. However, the store did not have it. In the mean time I noticed that the maximum weight for the pack and play is 30 pounds. That's not too much considering she is already 25.11oz. I am now looking into a portable crib which is more expensive but will last longer. I hate to have another expense but she needs something! Anyway, I picked up some cute fall clothing! I just love it all!

I have been working with Erika on using a fork. When I say working, I should say I showed her one day what to do and she has been doing great since then! Of course I am sitting right there with her cheering her on. She actually points to the box of forks now for me to give her one.

She is about to enjoy some of my special meatloaf. Yummy in the tummy for sure!

Yesterday I bought something else for Erika that is just as exciting as using a fork. Can you guess what it might be? It is also something for big girls only. Hmmmm....

Erika loves her pin wheel and always wants to carry it around with her! I used to love pin wheels too. Must be a kid thing.

Nope, the day wouldn't be complete without Michelle and Isabelle time! Here the girls are set free in the non baby proof kitchen!

Yes, I think it's a kid thing too. I used to stick one outside our living room window and watch the wind blow on it! I think my dad might have even gotten me one of those pinwheels with one big one in the center and a few small ones near it because every time I see one of those, I'll want a pinwheel again. It's so cute seeing the pictures of Erika eating and I love the quotes you give for the girls.
