I Am Just So In Love

Okay, so just look at her little face and you will see why I am so in love! Today Erika and I spent the day together being best buddies! We danced, played, took a walk, went to CVS, cleaned, and hugged and kissed! Erika loves when I sing the ABC song to her and she attempts to sing along with me. At the end she can fill in the letter Z. I say "Y and..." and then she yells "Z!" I love it.The picture above is silly because of the face she is making. She was carrying a toy that is a bit heavy for her and that is why she has her mouth open. Yesterday, when I took her out in the stroller for a walk, Peter came outside to say goodbye. Erika turns around and says "bye Peter!" Cracked us both up. So now she says both of our first names. Too much!
This is one of my favorite poses...when she kneels like that and digs through her toys. Most of the time Erika is great at playing independently if I need to get something done in the kitchen. She certainly has enough toys to entertain herself!

Erika loves to sing which is always cute to listen to. If you look closely you can see that she is holding the microphone to that toy and singing into it. Another funny thing she does these days is calls almost everything MOMMY. If she wants more she says Mommy, if she wants to be picked up she says Mommy, if she wants help with a toy she says Mommy, she calls Peter mommy and says it to everyone. I don't mind because I love hearing that word.

Look how hard she is concentrating to get the stars off the stacker! This toy has only recently become of interest to her and she has had it since Christmas. On a side note, I forgot to mention on Wednesday that I lost another 1.8 pounds for a total of 16 so far. I am excited...even thought I have about double that to loose.

This is a video that was so funny to watch in person. Erika was chasing Bob around trying to sit on him and then she would giggle when her bottom hit the floor. She giggles in the video but the radio is so loud with my favorite Laurie Berkner song that you can barely hear Erika! Her hair looks crazy in the video because she had food stuck in it from dinner.
