Another Cute Haircut

It was definitely time for another trim to Erika's bangs. They were in her eyes and when I clip them up she always yanks the clip right out. I took her to the inexpensive place again that is right in town. She screamed when I put her on the chair and then I held her on my lap and she still screamed. But I did see an improvement compared to last time. The hairdresser said that the more often she goes to get her haircut the more used to it she will be, which makes good sense to me. Anyway, I love when her bangs are short like that. I always say "can you make them a little shorter?" It's the one time in your life it is okay to have such short bangs!
Look at Erika at 14 1/2 months old and refusing to hold that bottle! Bottle time in the morning, afternoon and at night is the only time Erika curls up and still seems like a baby. It kinds cracks me up when I see the size of her laying back on me letting me feed her a bottle. She is such a silly girl. But I am not complaining at all, in fact I LOVE it!
I feel such a tremendous bond between Erika and I. I know that I am giving her everything I have to offer and that makes me feel good. There seems to be an understanding between Erika and I that is different than the bond between Peter and her. They have an incredible relationship as well, it is just a different one.
Erika definitely knows the brushing the teeth routine at this point. We do a bath, bottle while watching Laurie Berkner DVD and then we brush the teeth. She gets to play with the light switches while I try my best to clean her teeth and mouth.

Erika is wearing her adorable and new frog pj's from Aunt Margaret. They have matching shorts too but I thought it was a little chilly tonight for the shorts. Erika was excited to see the pants when I put them on her. She kept pointing to the frogs and saying something that I am sure was meant to be frog.
That's my happy girl. She even let me do a little back to school shopping today. I managed to get one pair of dressy capri's at Kohl's. Last night I had went also after she went to bed and picked up a blouse and skirt. At this rate, I may be done back to school shopping by December! I need shoes too but she hates when I try on shoes.
All done brushing the teeth and time to shut off the lights.
