Not Too Much Going On Today

After yesterday's excitement, we needed a low key day today! Erika (and I) had a rough night last night. We came home from the party around 9:30 and she was in bed exhausted by 10:00, which is very late for her. Then she was up every two hours after that! Gave me flashbacks of last summer! I was exhausted this morning. She did sleep till 9:00 which was nice except that we were counting on her as our alarm clock to get up for church!
Peter spent some time playing with Erika today so that I could make a few worksheets for school. I still have some more that I would like to make. Erika refused to take a nap today until 3:00 in which she then slept close to 3 hours!
When she woke up she had some yummy dinner of meatballs and alphabets. Then as you may have concluded from the pictures we took a family walk to the state park. It was so crowded which is how Erika likes it because she loves to see kids!I did have plans to go to Maureen's tomorrow but that has been moved to Wednesday so tomorrow Erika and I will have new plans. I have been sitting her on the potty for about 10 - 15 minutes a day. We play with the bubbles and I am hoping one of these times she will go and I can make a big deal out of it. I figure at least I am getting her used to sitting on it.
I extra missed Michelle when we were at the park because that is what her and I always like to do and that was where we said our goodbyes! But the good news is that she is coming home this Saturday! I will be waiting on her doorstep! LOL
Oh my goodness...I just love that adorable face!
Check out Erika's new boots for the fall! I had bought them a few weeks ago but kept forgetting to take a picture of them. They are so cute that I want a pair too!
