SO...Here She Is...Miss. Shirley Temple

I barely even attempted to put the wig that I worked on for an hour last night! I tried it on her this morning and she didn't like it at all. I was so tired from all the baking that I didn't feel like fighting her to keep it on. And so instead I scrunched her hair with mousse as best as I could to bring out as much of her natural curl as possible.
I think that she looks totally adorable and the Shirley temple look is definitely there. Thank you so much Damiane' for the great idea! I would have never thought of such a cute idea.
This is a picture of Erika and I on our way walking to the party which was less than a block away. Erika seemed so excited that instead of putting her in the stroller, I let her walk!
Check that out - isn't it cool with the HOLLYWOOD letters? I thought that was really cute. So of course Erika and I needed a photo in front of it. As you may have noticed, I did not dress up as anything. But there were a few people at the party dressed up _ Marilyn Monroe, Indiana Jones, and others that I can't remember right now.

Erika was little miss social at the party, strutting her stuff all over the place. Of course she received many compliments on her out fit and her cuteness. She liked walking all around and exploring the place.

But one in awhile she would stop to take a break and just have a moment to think!
She also spent some time talking with her friend Katie from down the block. Katie is a few months older than Erika, believe it or not!
Posing so that Mommy can get a extra cute picture of Shirley Temple...and then guess what???
Erika walked the red carpet AND...

won her first Oscar Award!! We also won a prize for Daddy...a blue tooth set up for his cellphone...look how excited Erika was over this one...
Every year they do a Chinese auction and that is how we won the prize for Daddy. Ironically that is exactly what just broke on his phone and he needed a new one.

Here are a few more pictures from the awesome party!

And last but not least my cupcake in an ice cream cone dessert that I made today to bring to the party along with all my other treats.

YEAH it turned out so well. Told you she would look adorable!! The hair came out better with just her natural hair. She looked like she had so much fun and it was nice out!
