Today we met up with my mother. First we went to lunch at Chili's which Erika ate half my chicken! My mother gave her a toy camera and she loved it. I can't believe that I hadn't thought of that already. Erika loves holding my camera up over her head and saying cheese. Now she does the same thing with her new toy camera. Grandma also gave Erika 3 new little people and a book about colors. Erika loves everything.
Ooops, I almost forgot that round box Erika is holding in the picture! She has a new set of dishes. They are very cute dishes and Erika will have fun eating from them.
After lunch it was off to Adventure Land we went! That is a local amusement park. Erika was so excited from the moment that we took her out of the car. It was fun to watch her absorb it all. Mainly she is into the kids but she was also very interested in the roller coaster. First we just walked around a lot. And then we started to go on some rides with her.
This ride is a boat that went around in a circle. It was very low key and Erika liked it. My mother and I had to take turns going on with Erika because they wouldn't let two adults on at a time. So anyway, even though Erika is not smiling in the picture she is having a nice time.
And there goes Grandma and Erika sailing by! They actually went on this ride two times because it was such a hit with both of them!
In the picture above, Erika is very interested in watching the antique cars go by. She watched them for awhile. I wanted to take her on them but she is too young.
"What next Grandma?" "Where are we going now?"
"Let's go on the carousel Erika okay?"
Then I took Erika on this clown ride. We also took the train ride around the park, but none of those pictures came out so great. When we finally left, we headed straight to Babies "R Us. I needed a pack and play for Erika to sleep in at Maureen's house. Also Grandma, bought Erika a Halloween bib, and two suction cup bowls. Erika was exhausted and we had so much fun today. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE GOODIES GRANDMA!

I can't believe that place is still open I remember going there as a kid, I loved the swings!!!! Erika is lucky to have that near your house. Looks like she will be a dare devil with rides!
