Whew!! I have definitely been knocked down for the count! I haven't felt this sick in awhile. Erika is doing well and I only have one health concern left with her. That would be her daily loaded amongst other gross descriptions diaper. I don't know if it is her teeth or maybe the fact that she is on new vitamins or is it something else? She was however very sick on Thursday...vomiting and fun stuff like that. Thursday was a rough day because her and I were both so sick.
As far as me, I went to the doctor on Friday. Peter came home from work early and drove me there. My tonsils are so swollen and my throat is killing me. My temperature has been very close to 102. They tested me for one type of strep in the office and it came back neg. So the doctor did another throat culture for other forms of strep and that test gets sent out to a lab. The results won't be in till Tuesday.
Poor Baby, I put her in the swing on Thursday and she is too big and heavy for it!
In the meantime, the doctor put me on a mega dose of antibiotic. I definitely feel an improvement and I think my fever is finally in check. But I am still sick. My tonsils are still swollen and my throat still hurts. The fever was crazy, i would be shivering with goosebumps one minute and then sweating hot the next!
A cute Erika story - Thursday...the rough day. I ordered a pizza and a salad for dinner because Peter was coming home late. When the pizza came I cut a piece up for Erika and as soon as she put a piece in her mouth, she looked at me and made that "Ahhhhh" sound she makes after having some juice! It was so cute!
