Friends Are Fun!

I would be lieing if I said I caught up on my sleep! It did help that I went to bed semi-early last night. Erika gets up at least once every night and my cat has become super vocal at night. He meows in our face all night and when he isn't meowing, Erika is crying for me to come give her a hug in the rocking chair. Crazy crazy!
Wondering where Erika got such an adorable shirt? From our friend in Florida - Damiane' and her beautiful twins. The shirt actually has shorts to match also but they never made it on her today. I can't believe it is a size 3T and it fits good!! I already bought two sweaters for the fall/winter for Erika and went for the 4T just to make sure they fit! These kids just grow like weeds!
There is Erika playing with her new baby doll from God mommy Debbie. This is the doll that teaches children how to snap, zip, button, velcro and all that other fun stuff. So far Erika just likes to smile at her and hug her! That's good enough for me.
Today we invited Michelle and Isabelle over for lunch and play time. I made my extra yummy meatloaf. And we had some salad too. The girls had my famous macaroni and cheese which they both love. We set up the whole yard and then stayed outside about 10 minutes because it was so hot we couldn't take it. Besides the girls heads were dripping wet! The couch picture above was not a posed shot, they sat there together.
Erika was so sweaty and hot in the picture above. I spent yesterday and today teaching her where her eyes are and now she points to them when I ask. Tomorrow I will try to get it on video so that I can share her extra special talent.This picture was taken in the evening after Erika had a nap and her and I went back outside to play since it was cooler out!Michelle and I had a lot of fun today just laying on the floor and playing with the girls. FRIENDS ARE FUN!
