Erika looks out the window of my car every time I drive her passed the field where they were setting up for the fair. Peter and I both thought it would be fun to walk around and show Erika all the lights and action. So we did! But when we got there, we thought about bringing her on a few rides. The picture above we are on the Ferris wheel which she seemed to think was fun. The man running the ride said that she has to sit between us not on our laps and so that is why she is sitting where she is.
All three of us rode the crazy bus which really made my tummy turn inside out! I used to be so good with rides and now I get sick easy! I didn't ask anyone to get a picture of the three of us but I do have one of Erika and Daddy sitting next to me on the bus. We sat up front. At first when the bus started to move, Erika looked hesitant but she adjusted very quick.
The crazy bus riders! We had these two kids behind us that were crazy but Erika found them entertaining. We managed to both eat some unhealthy fatty foods...zeppoles for me and chocolate covered strawberries for Peter. I can't go to a fair like that and not get the warm sugary greasy zeppoles !
And here we are pumping Erika full of some very sugary pink lemonade slushy drink! She loved it. She kept telling Daddy she wanted more.
I have never been on one of these slides before and unless Erika begs me when she is older, I will never go on one again. It was crazy...up and down...up and down...YUCK!! Erika didn't like it either. She started to cry at the end. Neither one of us found that to be very much fun.
On top of it not being fun, I felt like I had to hold onto Erika so tight to protect her! That slide is so slippery. While we were at the fair we ran into one of the butcher's that truly adores Erika. I don't think Erika knew who he was not in his butcher outfit!
After the fair we came home and hung around outside to see some fireworks. Erika and Daddy also caught some fireflies! Erika liked the fireworks but also jumped every time a loud one went off. Currently as I type this she is doing great sleeping through all the noise.

I went on all those rides at the bazaar with Anna and Katherine. It's true, the slide makes me scared and I screamed a lot towards the bottom but kept on going on it again and again; the ferris wheel was wet so Anna and I lifted our feet up a few inches(I was scared on that too, but Anna made me feel much better), and Dominique, Anna and I went on the Crazy Bus sharing cotton candy. I'd gotten ripped off because I paid $5, Dominique paid $2, and Anna paid $0.50 but they ate more!
I will start writing the book on your likes and dislikes, just like you though I would, tommorow, with Julia in the dislikes!
