Happy 4th Of July!

There is Erika all decked out in her sale outfit from Kmart. I was having difficulty getting her to look at the camera so this is one of the best ones that I got. Erika has still been sleeping through the night which is really nice. And today she didn't get up till 7:30 which was also really nice. Honestly I would settle for one of the two - sleeping late or sleeping through the night but when she gives me both, it is really nice. Today, Erika and I went to the food store to get some special ingredients that I need for the party we are going to tomorrow. The neighbor is having a get together at 5:00 and there is a contest for the best dish. There are different categories too. The store was so crowded and Erika did great. I think she mainly just hates clothing shopping. Like Kohl's she seems to hate...which I love!

I have been working on going through all her clothing and putting some away...just in case we need it again. Sometimes I get sad when I see how little the clothes were and how little she was. But I am also happy that she is healthy and growing so well. Look at how tiny she was exactly a year ago on the 4th of July...

I barely even remember her so tiny like that! I can see her at that size in my mind but I can't feel it. I remember that outfit being newborn size and not knowing if it would fit her and it was a little big but still fit.

After a couple of naps, some playing, some eating, the shopping trip, and cleaning her room, we all went to the local fair. I am going to post that story and pics on a new post. I am so tired and don't think I can do it tonight! The flowers in the picture above are from Michelle. They are so pretty.
