Erika took a nap after we came home from shopping. While she napped I set up the back yard. Instead of ordering two more extensions for the play yard, I ordered another play yard! Economically speaking, it was almost the same price. So I hooked up the play yard's and it looked great! THANK YOU SO MUCH AUNT PEGGIE AND UNCLE JOE!! The play yard is awesome. I love it and Erika does too. In the picture above Erika is so proud because she can get on and off her little bike from Uncle Bobby all by herself and she giggles when she pushes herself backwards.
And then our friend Isabelle came over to play! Here they are playing with the water table which they both love. Isabelle wasn't too thrilled when Erika took a shovel full of water and wet her!! Look at how big the play yard is now! It is perfect. By the way, Damiane' - Erika looks adorable in her pink hat that you gave her! Michelle went for a pedicure and I tended to the children! It is was fun and really cute to watch them in action.
And here they are stuffing their faces with as many gold fish as possible. I suspect they were having some sort of contest as to who could fit more goldfish in their mouth at a time. I don't know who won! Probably Erika because if you look closely she is actually shoving with two hands whereas Isabelle is being much more polite and using only one hand.
Isabelle has the whole concept down already of the magna doodle (prescription #1). But Erika still wanted to show her how it was done! However, once Isabelle showed Erika how it was done - Erika was doing such a better job at making the lines. YAY Isabelle - you tought Erika how to make the lines on the magna doodle. Not that Peter and I haven't already tried to show her but maybe seeing someone her size works better! If you look in the left corner of this picture you can see Bob's ear - he was spending time with the girls too.
And in the picture above you will see PRESCRIPTION #2 - the lever, knob, button and twist pop up toy. Which Erika has ZERO interest in. She just pulls the little lids up instead of doing the skills that the doctor wants her to be doing. This is a Leapfrog one, which I thought was going to be so expensive but was buying it anyway because I liked that it does the ABC's and colors...and when they rung it up it was on clearance for less than $5.00!!! I was so happy about that! Hopefully Erika will change her mind soon and take an interest.
As Isabelle glances over Erika's shoulder...."Hmmm whatcha reading???"
Erika reading a book about the little people...upside down!
And now for some cute videos of the girls...
