Erika seems to be doing better today. No fever but still whiny. She doesn't want to be put down or left alone to play. Also still very sleepy. I had a 4:30 wake up call this morning but she was good about it. We went downstairs, had a bottle, watched Gullah Gullah island and she was back in bed by 5:00. Only trouble is that I am the kind of person that once I am up, it is difficult for me to fall back asleep, even if I am tired. 
And finally you will see here prescription #3..the good ol' shape sorter which I personally do not like and that is why Erika didn't have one but now she does! She truly does not show much interest at all. The doctor said she should be able to get the shape matched up but does not need to know how to push it into the hole yet. That's a lot of pressure! :-)
As long as she is trying her best then that is good enough for me. After her nap, playing and eating we went over to Michelle and Isabelle's house. We had a yummy lunch there and played till the girls started the crying routine and then Erika and I headed home. I do have a funny Mommy story from yesterday...that only a Mommy can understand.
Before we headed out to toys r us - I gave Erika a bath. I had taken her straight from the high chair into the bath which means I took her diaper off at the high chair and carried her her into the bath nude. She was on my side with her legs wrapped around me. While I was out at the store I thought I kept smelling something but didn't think too much of it. When I came home, later on I happened to look at my shirt...ewww...it had a smear of Erika poop on it. HOW EMBARRASSING!!!! LOL I wonder if anyone noticed? Good thing I was at a baby friendly store. Erika didn't have a dirty diaper so I didn't think anything of holding her like that.

Yeah we finally get to see #3. She is super smart and it won't be long before she figures out the shapes. No pressure, just fun learning! And that story is funny...sorry but it is.
