Another peaceful night from Erika. She woke up at 7:00 which works for me! Erika has been very whiny for a few days and today she proved to us that she isn't whining for no particular reason! But I will get to that in a little bit. I don't have much to report about the day...eating, playing, sleeping and a bath. We went for a visit to our neighbor Carol too.
I had plans for going to Toys R Us but it never happened. We noticed that Erika felt warm so I went to give her some infant Motrin. Well that must have triggered her tummy and she began getting sick on Daddy, Mommy,and assorted other items. We felt terrible for her as this was the first time Erika has ever got sick. She was so upset and scared that she was having trouble catching her breath.
After reading the paperwork for the MMR shot again, I see that this type of reaction can happen 10 days after the actual shot and today is day 9! This shot is really something! So anyway, all three of us got cleaned up and I rocked poor baby Erika to sleep. The picture above is classic to me because Erika stands there and calls "Daaah Deee" till he comes down! Sometimes I egg her on to do it so I can have some company in the living room!

Her pants/Capri's are from my friend Kim...which we are having over for lunch this Friday and her adorable top is from my student Shanell from this past school year. She looked so grown up in her outfit today!

After Erika became sick and I cleaned her up, I had her spend the rest of the day in comfy pj's and mostly we just cuddled on the couch! She looks so sad in this picture.
