Today Erika was in a really great mood. She got up at 6:30 and we went about our routine. When the three of us were sitting on the couch, I witnessed Erika's jealous side. Peter was feeding her the bottle and Bob (my cat) was sitting on my lap. Well, Erika wasn't having this. So she got off of Daddy and backed herself into my lap with her bottle and pushed poor Bob right out of the way!
It is so ironic to me that Erika is now playing with the toy in the picture above. I was looking around the living room yesterday and the day before trying to see what toys can be eliminated. And the one in the picture was number one on the list! She usually doesn't even look at it but she must have felt that I was going to put it away!
Passing the toy back and forth by our mouths is one of Erika's favorite games to play with me. She does this most when she is in the tub. It is adorable to hear her little giggle when we do this. Sometimes it really hurts my teeth and I wonder how she can deal with it!
Finally today we were able to help Michelle a little. Isabelle is having a rough time with her molars and poor Michelle was fresh out of Motrin. So Erika and I dashed out and bought some Motrin to bring over by Michelle's house. That reminds me...my truck is officially totaled and now we will work on the next step. Again, at least I am not totaled! We will work it all out. I have been doing as little driving as possible and I am so beyond cautious. Definitely a life changing event!
Erika is walking very well and has incredible balance. I am so proud of her! The second half of the day Isabelle came over because Michelle had a meeting to go to. We had fun playing with Isabelle but that information will be in a separate post!

WTG Erika, she is walking so well! That is funny about the toys, we are going to do that this weekend. I am not ready to part with some of them but we will put them away and take them out later so they feel they are new again. We are on a mission to find the rain stick.
