Not too much new going on over here in "Erika Land." Mommy is tired, Daddy is tired and Baby Erika is tired. What is the problem?? Well even though baby Erika is tired, she has NOT been sleeping through the night. I can't even really remember the last time that she slept through the night. Those teeth are really causing a problem. At least that is what I think it is. Last night she was up at 1:00 and then at 2:30 again. Crazy baby! And then on top on that she was on nap strike today too. Maybe she has allergies and that is bothering her...who knows!Below is a very short video of something cute that Erika does after each sip of juice. Daddy taught her this one.
Some exciting events for the future. On Thursday Erika is getting her first hair cut. She has a 4:30 appointment. It's not that I really want to cut it but more that I am tired of putting it up in the front just to have her pull the rubber band out and stick it in her mouth! It isn't safe.
Also, Erika is going to see Laurie Berkner - her all time favorite singer for her first birthday. That is her gift from Mommy and Daddy. Erika is mesmerized by Laurie. we listen to her Cd's on the way to work in the morning and on the way home. Never heard of Laurie. That is cool to go see her though. A haircut...wow....! That is so cute about the drinking and 'ahh' too cute! Sorry she isnt' sleeping through the night hope it changes soon!
