Sleepless On Saturday

So my experiment to see if Erika still wants to take naps ended in the conclusion that what Maureen has been saying is true. I think Erika slept an hour and a half total between two naps today! AND that is after getting me up every three hours last night. One would have thought she would be tired enough to nap...but no such luck. Now I have a ton of stuff to do to catch up from the day.
Today Erika and I went to the food store and to the butcher. When we entered the butcher, right away Erika pointed and indicated in her own language to the man behind the corner to turn the flying pig on! I was so surprised and proud of her! I couldn't believe she remembered so quick. The guys at the butcher just love her so of course they couldn't jump quick enough to turn it on for her! So so so cute! I think that was my favorite moment of today.
Erika had her first ice pop today. It was made from tropical juice. Although in this picture she looks like she is handling it well, she didn't have such a great time with the ice pop and daddy ended up eating most of it. She kept making this sour face each time she tried it and didn't have the concept down yet that the side to put in the mouth is the ice pop and not the stick. It was fun to try it with her any way.
