Today was the big day that Erika and I have been waiting for all week. We went to the shoe store and got Erika a good pair of sneakers. We went to the Stride Rite outlet store. The man there measured Erika's foot and said it is a size 4 1/2 wide. Yikes...the sneakers she was wearing are a 3!! BAD MOMMY! When I put the new sneakers on her feet, I couldn't believe how much better they fit. Lucky for me and my wallet, they had a really small selection of sneakers/
sandals and so I actually only bought one pair.

Of course Erika already learned how to open the
velcro on her new sneakers. She seems to really like them which I am glad about. I do have to make a comment on how difficult it is to shop with her. She never wants that stroller to stop moving. How in the world does she expect me to look at any thing if I can't stop the stroller???

Another big event for today is that Erika has started the transition from formula to milk! I am looking forward to a complete switch because the formula is 33.00 for six containers. It is such a huge expense. So age wise, it is time for her to start drinking milk.
Tonight she had half formula and half milk bottle. She slurped it down no problem.

Gotta love shoe shopping and those shoes you got! That is crazy about the stroller thing. Glad to see she is still playing with the Elmo I sent her.
