Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mommies! Today I started the Mother's Day celebration a little early! I have had a gift certificate to a spa that Peter got me for about a year and a half. He bought it for me while I was pregnant and I never used it. Well, today was the day and I went for a one hour massage! It was great to have some relaxation! I also spent some time (and money) at Kohl's on a few clothes for work. It was nice to have some "Heidi time."
Then we decided that instead of going out to eat on Mother's Day when it will be so crowded, we should go today. And it worked out PERFECT! We were the only ones in the place for a long time and then at the end there was one other couple. Erika behaved great as always. We went to a Mexican place that is local. Mexican food is and always has been my favorite. It was real nice to be out because we haven't been out in so long.
Then Erika got a very important phone call during dinner and she just had to take the call. Watch the video below for all the details of her conversation!

After the important phone call, the waiter brought over an extra special treat for Erika! A treat that Mommy and Daddy would never give Erika but we felt kinda obligated with the waiter STARING right at us...so we gave her only a little. It was a scoop of vanilla ice cream. She definitely liked it but I have seen her more interested in other foods. She loves peaches. I am surprised about the ice cream because that was the one and only food that would make her jump around when she was in my tummy.Look at how serious her face is!

In the picture above, Erika is having her very first taste of vanilla ice cream. By the way, so far so good with the formula to milk transition!I am also sure at this point that those two front chompers are coming in because I see them...and feel them!
