Happy Memorial Day!

There is Erika sporting the Memorial Day bow that we stole from Isabelle when she came over today. Another BUSY day over here. Just caring for Erika alone is busy enough but then I keep inviting people over! I like having people over and so does Erika. So today we had Michelle and Isabelle over for some swinging and playing. Then after that we invited Carol (our neighbor) over for dinner and dessert. I am very tired and not exactly ready to go back to work in the morning!
The girls have so much fun swinging. However, we couldn't keep them out too long today because both Michelle and I chose not to put the sunblock on the babies. Yesterday it was just disaster with it getting in their eyes. So we only stayed out for about 10 minutes and then came in for some play time in the living room.
Isabelle was enjoying some strawberry flavored puffs. Erika has her hand in the bowl grabbing some for herself. It was interesting to watch how different Erika acts with Isabelle when she is on her own turf as compared to Isabelle's turf! Erika is a bit more talkative and outgoing. When I bring her to Isabelle's she is very quiet.
They were both spending some nice time with Bob. He is such a good sport. They pull his whiskers, ears and fur and he takes it all. This whole kid/baby thing has been an adjustment for him and he is doing great. I am very proud of my "first born" Bob!

Any time you want to come over and play Isabelle...we will be here!!

Isabelle also had some fun playing Mommy with Erika's new dolly from her Grandma.

I know...I know...I am turning this into Isabelle's blog...sorry I just couldn't help sharing her ADORABLE face!

Meanwhile, back to work for me tomorrow and I am feeling sad as always. These past 4 days were a tease of the summer! I will be missing Erika tomorrow.
