This is the face of an excited little girl because she received a package from her Grandma today (my mother). Grandma sent Erika a Yankee outfit and a chicken that does the chicken dance! It was perfect timing because Erika was grouchy today. Something is bothering her but I haven't determined exactly what it is. Maureen said that she wouldn't nap much. Anyway, here is a video of Erika checking out the new chicken! Thank you Grandma!I keep meaning to post about Erika's bottle holding skills. What is the skill you may ask??? That's the problem...Erika is going to be one year old in just a few weeks and she still refuses to hold that bottle! I wonder if she is just lazy. I don't notice her being lazy in any thing else though. Tomorrow after work it will be an exciting day. I am taking Erika to Stride Rite for her first pair of "real" shoes. She is doing enough standing on her feet that I think it is time to get her a good pair. I am so excited!
Bubbles...bubbles...bubbles! I love blowing bubbles for Erika when she is in the tub and she loves it too! I am still very tired and that is why I didn't even post yesterday. Although we did go for a very long walk yesterday. Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday...and it will be my first Mothers Day on Sunday!!

The bottle thing I wouldn't worry about it she will get it. She does the sippy cup right?
