Thank You So Much Damiane'!

Erika had a fun filled morning of opening and opening and opening some birthday gifts from Damiane' (my friend in Florida). Damiane' gave Erika so many wonderful gifts! A pool, a float for the pool, two outfits, sun block, pail and shovel, a towel, snacks, a sun hat and more that I can't even remember right now! Erika was having fun digging through every thing. She is becoming quite the expert at opening presents! Such a change from just 6 months ago at Christmas time - I had to open everything Santa brought her!

Here she is with her new Hello Kitty hooded towel! I am excited about this one because it looks like it is going to be nice and big to wrap her all up in! Those baby hooded towels stopped being large enough a long time ago!
Look at how hard she is working to open up this great pool! Erika said it was worth the struggle! The pool even has a sunshade. Just in time too because yesterday Grandma sent Erika two bathing suits! Only problem now is the weather...chilly and rainy. But soon it will be nice again and we can suit up and swim!
Typical with kids, this shovel was one of her favorite gifts. I think she is saying to herself "now I can help Daddy outside with the gardening!" Check out that great beach bag too! Erika is one lucky girl to have so many people caring about her and smothering her with gifts!
