Erika decided to get up for the day at 4:00 this morning. That is actually one of the worst time for her to get up. I need to get up for work at 4:45. So if she gets up at 4:00 then I get cheated out of that 45 minutes. When she wakes up earlier, at least I can put her back to sleep and I can go back to sleep. She even stayed awake during the whole ride in this morning to Maureen's house (55 minute trip).
On the way home I had a few errands to run, which is never Erika's favorite thing to do. She gets whiny and makes sure I don't spend too long in any one spot. Anyway, by the time I came home it was after 5:00. She ate, took a bath and went night night. Not much opportunity for a photo shoot. I did manage to get a quick video of her using her walking toy. She does a lot better than the video shows but it is the only video that I have so far.
I was excited to see the mailman brought Erika's "Birthday Girl" t-shirt. She will be getting much use out of the shirt because it seems that we are going be a having various celebrations for her first birthday instead of one large celebration.

you were not cheated out of 45 minutes of sleep time.. why not take a nap at lunch time in school??and make up the lost time??
