Today when we came home Erika had yet another silver package from her
Oma (Peters mother) waiting for her! Apparently she sent them
separately so that
Erika would have two fun days of surprises! I didn't get pictures of her opening the package but took some of her playing with it.
This time the surprise was The Little People Castle! It is so adorable. This one also makes noise. When you press down on the horn it makes a "castle like" sound! She likes to set this up right next to the house and then get all her Little People vehicles too. Her and Daddy get out the birthday cake for the little people and then they have a big party. Sometimes the Thomas the Train gets involved in the whole set up too.
Other than today's big surprise not too much is going on. At this point Erika has had two
nebulizer treatments and sits through them like a champ! I couldn't believe that she allows me to keep that oxygen mask on her for 15 minutes! Barely even a complaint. I am very proud. I must mention it is a group effort too. She sits with daddy's arm around her and then I am the nurse that sets up her equipment and administers the medication! And the great news is that it seems to be helping her breathe better.
