Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Today (the last day of my vacation) we spent with Grandpa for his birthday! This morning Erika and I baked him a yummy chocolate cake and went out to buy some balloons. I had her help me pick them out and she chose a Dora balloon for Grandpa. I had to laugh at that one. I did get it because that is what she chose and I asked her to help me.
Lucky girl that Erika is, she had more Easter goodies waiting for her at Grandma and Grandpa's house! She must think it is Christmas because she has been getting Easter treats for about two weeks now! I always make sure she says thank you and she is usually pretty good at it. I am a very appreciative parent when it comes to people giving Erika any thing. It always touches my heart when somebody has something for my little girl.
Grandpa was having fun with Erika digging through her Easter basket! And both him and Peter seemed anxious to get outside and blow some bubbles with her. I enjoy watching her look though all the goodies and am proud of how calm she is and polite while doing that. Such a little girl.Playing with the doll stroller at Grandma and Grandpa's is always fun. Erika likes to load it up with all different size balls and then push it around the house. It's an adorable stroller and just the right height for her.And guess what? They finally made it outside to blow bubbles. Also the three of them went for a walk while Grandma and i stayed home and talked for awhile. We had some lunch before the walk and then the yummy cake after the walk. It was a great way to spend my last day of vacation. And now the Erika withdrawals will start in!
