The Easter Bunny!

Today was a very exciting day because Erika and Belle went to see the Easter Bunny! Of course I wasn't sure how Erika would react. So, I started preparing her mentally for the event last night. I told her we would go see the Easter Bunny and she could sit on his lap and then take a picture. Then I would review and ask her if she wanted to sit on his lap and take a picture...she said yes so I was very excited.First we had to prepare the stroller for our outing. I had forgot that I had this particular stroller and wow what a pleasure it was to use this one today! It's light and so easy to move compared to the big clunky one. Isabelle and Michelle pulled up and it was time to go! The girls were all dressed up and ready to go! It was cute because you could feel the excitement in the air. My only question is - who was more excited, the Mommies or the kids?!
We decided to go to Mr. Easter Bunny first before the girls changed their mind, messed up their clothing, became fussy or the line became too long to wait! As it was, the line was pretty long and we were there pretty early. Well, belle started changing her mind pretty quick and wanted no part of that bunny! I was afraid Erika would follow suit, but she said she wanted to sit on the bunny's lap.The line seemed like it was taking forever. But of course Michelle and I made use of the time by taking as many photo's as we could! We probably looked like a bunch of freaks! We finally got up there and I placed Erika on the Easter Bunny and she did great! She didn't smile but in her defense...that was one grouchy crew running the Easter Bunny station...including the Bunny himself. They didn't even attempt to make her smile. I took my own pictures! And refused the one they took because Erika looked grouchy and the people were so rude to me and it was an uncomfortable atmosphere. But you know what? It didn't bother me because Erika was so excited that she saw the bunny and she even waved and said goodbye to him. It was an adorable moment. I felt bad that Belle didn't want to but that happens. That's how Erika was with Santa Clause. After the Easter Bunny, the girls had a snack and then we went to the food court for some lunch. Both Belle and Erika were really being good. We sat down and had some Chinese food and talked and let the girls play. I wasn't feeling well and we actually ended up leaving soon after that. We had plans of shopping but Michelle said I looked as if I may pass out and I felt very sick so we left. It's not fun to walk around a mall if you aren't feeling well. Anyway, i am so glad that Erika went to see the Easter bunny...even if he was grumpy today.
