Today when we came home from our fun family day out, Erika had a big shiny silver package waiting at the front door for her! I think that I get just as excited as Erika when she gets a surprise.
Erika's Oma (Peters mother) sent Erika The Little People dollhouse! Oh my goodness, does she love it! She was beyond excited when we opened it. Then her and I laid on the floor and just played with it. The toilet makes a flushing sound, the phone rings, there is a sliding curtain that makes the sound of day and night and then there is a barking dog and meowing cat too.
Of course her favorite is hearing the potty flush. She lines up all the little people and they each get to sit on the potty. Then she took her bus from my mother and starting busing all the people in...just to go to the potty. Erika is also getting a dollhouse (a different one) from my mother for her birthday. This one just confirms that she will LOVE the one from my mother too. That one is more with poseable dolls. 
It was such a fun surprise and something that I...I mean WE really wanted! And Mom...don't worry, she will still love and want the one that you are giving her in June...I am SURE of it!
