This is not her first Easter but it was her first time coloring eggs. I was very excited which in turn led Erika to being very excited. I kept saying "let's color Easter eggs...whooo hooo!" So of course then Erika would say the same thing.
So just like riding a bike for the first time, Erika truly needed to be shown what coloring Easter eggs was all about. Daddy and I started right in by showing her and it didn't take long for her to catch on. Of course we had to guide her dropping the egg in the coloring so that the egg didn't crack. But basically i would say it was a successful event! I know she had fun although I must admit she looked confused a few times.
I think the real fun came for her when I mentioned that we could put some stickers on them. Then she was hyped up even more. We managed to make it through the whole activity with her dropping only one egg. Not too bad. Here are a few more pictures.
