This morning we woke up to a dusting of snow. Peter and I were surprised because we had no idea snow was in the forecast! And there is another storm heading in tonight. Erika was excited about the snow this morning. And if by chance there is a snow day tomorrow, I really want to take Erika out to make a snowman.
This morning we did one of Erika's favorite things - Miss. Kathy and church. She asks all week for both of those. I finally started telling her that Miss. Kathy went home and that seemed to help. Delaney was there today (that is the daughter of the woman that passed away in the car accident) and Erika spent some time playing with her. it was a sad moment when i was in the playroom with Erika and Delaney. Delaney was on the play phone saying "Hi Mommy, where are you?" VERY SAD. makes you really stop and think about making the best and most of each day because you just never know when your time is up.
I attempted to make some St. Patrick's Day crafts with Erika but she didn't have much interest. I will try again tomorrow either after work or during the day if my wish comes true of the snow day! We had a Chinese food treat
tonight and Erika went to town on the
LoMien noodles! She was a pleasure today as always...well most of the time any way!
