Well it is spring but as you can see from the photo, still not warm enough for Erika to take off her winter coat. All my students are getting sick again because everyone wants to be outside and pretend it is warm so instead we are all getting sick from it being cold. Today after work, Erika and i met up at the local state park with Belle and Michelle. We haven't been to this park for a really long time. It is a nice park, but so secluded in the woods that I don't go alone.
Erika and I had a few minutes to play around before belle and Michelle came. There was this other little boy probably either 3 or 4 years old and he kept telling Erika that
everything was his! He said to her "this is my property!" Then he was shaking the bridge so much that I thought Erika may tumble right off. So i had to tell him to stop. I am starting to see that being at the park has it's advantages and disadvantages!
Yesterday Fran told me that Erika calls her "Mama" and I was teasing her saying that Erika doesn't even know me because i am a working Mommy. But she said Erika always calls me Mommy and that Fran's daughter calls her "Mama." Anyway, guess what Erika was
calling Michelle today?? MAMA! So I guess she is calling Michelle and Fran Mama as if it were their names. Very cute.
Erika is still doing great on the slide. But she particularly liked this one because her and I could go down at the same time. She would laugh every time we got to the bottom. I was having so much fun with her.
Anyway, I don't have much else to report. We stayed at the park a little over an hour and had a nice time. Here are a few pictures.

Soo cute! Yes the "park kids" can be crazy at times! So glad she is liking the slide again and the mama story was cute! I would have cried but that is just me.
