Today I missed Erika ALL day and could not wait to get out of school to have her in my arms again! Some days are tougher than others and usually Mondays are rough after having the tease of two days off with her. I don't waste any time at the end of the school day...when that bell rings at 2:20, I am out of there! And on my way to my baby girl.

When Erika and I came home today we made some popcorn and played with stickers. Do all kids love stickers like Erika does? I can't even understand what all the excitement is about but she just loves peeling those stickers off and then putting them on the paper...in no particular position. I love to just watch her concentrate and move her little hands. In the pictures of her doing the stickers, you can see her concentration face. I just love it!

Today we used some of her favorite stickers...Barney and Thomas the Train. I think this time change is more difficult on me than Erika. She seems fine and I am the one who is so tired. I think it usually takes about a week to adjust.

After the sticker extravaganza we went upstairs to do a few chores and then when ended up in Erika's room which was really fun for her. When we play in her room she gets to rediscover the toys that she doesn't see all the time. She was so interested in her "newly discovered" toys that I actually managed to get
some stuff
accomplished in her room.

This
particular toy that she is playing with ...sad but true...is MINE! Not from when I was a child either. It is from my Eeyore loving days. Who would have thought my daughter would be playing with it??

This picture provides a good visual of how tall Erika is becoming! Everywhere I go, people always think she is two years old or more. Peter and I have often thought that people look at Erika's size and think she will be doing things and acting in certain ways that are expected of children older than her. She still is only a baby...20 months.

Anyway, I have nothing else to post about and I am so so so very tired so enjoy a few more pictures.

She may be only 20 months but she does look like such a little girl. And just adorable. I wait and think of the day when I finally get to meet her. I never thought of the sticker thing, I should try that.
She Has to have some Irish In her
