Then I fed Erika some yummy lunch and decided to take her out to try newly found park #2! This park was really nice because it had the toddler section separate from the big kids section. That was one thing I didn't care for at the park from yesterday. It was kinda rough having big children being so wild mixed in with little ones like Erika. The toddler section in this park seemed just perfect because most of the kids were Erika's size and age. She even managed to pick up a boyfriend! Take a look for yourself...His name was Jordan and the two of them kept meeting up at the slide. In the picture below you can see her silly grin as if I caught her! Big news of the day is that Erika actually went down the slide by herself. She hasn't done that in SO long. It was as if something happened because she used to love it and then all of a sudden one day she was afraid. She is still hesitant but she did do it many times today.
There she is...caught with her playground boyfriend! I suspect he was younger but we didn't catch his age. I know Erika was having a great time at this park because every time I asked her if she wanted to go to the car for a snack, she told me no. In fact, now that I am thinking of it, she even got hurt at one point. She cried and sat with me about 2 minutes and then was right back out there again. So that is a true sign that she was having fun. And I was too!
And I just can't wait till the summer and when I can take her to the park EVERY DAY!!!! More to come!

thats does look like a great park...I have a hard time finding parks with a seperate toddler section. but did find a great one that I wanted to share with you since I know you live in Suffolk. It is by Lake Ronkonkoma (actually on the lake but it is fully gated off) has picnic tables, BBQ's, restrooms, and a great playground for toddlers seperate from the older kids. If you would like direction let me know. It is a beautiful park with pretty sights to take in too!

That park does look awesome. I can't wait for it to be warm by you so you can go and do all these fun outdoor things. My only wish/request is that we could be there to enjoy it with you.
