Is It Finally Here??

The mornings are tough sometimes over here. It is always a mystery if Erika will wake up on her own to come with me in the morning or if she will need to be woken up. And then there are some days when Peter will take her in so that she can sleep longer and then she ends up waking up before I leave. So unpredictable. This morning I couldn't get her to wake up for anything. And she looked so cute, hugging her monkey and a paci in each hand! Oh my goodness, I felt terrible that we had to wake her up. She looked so comfortable.

Today after work when Erika and I came home, we went right back out again. It it finally here - spring? The weather was beautiful today and I couldn't pass up some park time with Erika..I knew she was already tired from her busy day but she did well at the park anyway. Today was the first time I have ever seen any other children at our local park.
Erika entertains me because she likes to go hang out where the older kids are and she starts talking to them right away too. They are usually not as good at understanding her "language" as I am. Today she requested that I sit on the little see-saw with her. I love being her little playmate. I am beyond itching to spend every day with her!

Every time I take Erika to the park she gets more and more confident in what she will do. Yikes...what will I do when she wants to swing from the monkey bars or climb to the top of something??!!
